Chocolate chip cookie brownies

Watch out for these. Two of your favorite things — together!


1 box of plain brownie mix

1 large roll of Pillsbury (or other brand) chocolate chip cookie dough (or you can make your own)


Make the brownie mix but do not bake.

Pour into a square 9″ or 10″ square pan

Break cookie dough on top of brownies. Press slightly at random points.

Cover lightly with foil to keep cookie dough from browning too quickly.

Check with toothpick for doneness. When almost done take off foil and bake until cookies top is golden brown.

Remove and cool completely. Cut into squares.

They come out real easy if you spray pan first with non-stick baking spray.
