Cinnamon Roll Cake

If you like cake, and you like cinnamon rolls, this is the best of both! It’s great with coffee in the morning, or ice cream for dessert. The best part is it’s really easy to make!

Ingredients

Cake:

3 cups of flour

dash of salt

1 cup sugar

4 tsp baking powder

1 1/2 cup milk

2 eggs

2 tsp vanilla

1/2 cup butter (melted)

Topping:

1 cup butter (softened)

1 cup brown sugar

1 tbsp flour

1 tbsp cinnamon

Directions

Preheat oven to 350. (325 if dark pan)

Mix everything together except melted butter. Slowly pour in melted butter. Pour into 9×13 pan.

Mix topping ingredients and drop onto batter. Swirl with knife.

Bake until golden brown and/or toothpick comes out clean.

Optional glaze

About 1 cup of powdered sugar and a couple tsp of milk. Mix to desired consistency and drizzle over cake. I wait until it’s cooled down a bit so it doesn’t soak into the cake.
