Barbecue Ribs

The number of ways to fix ribs are as many as the grains of sand on the beach. Everybody has their own recipe, and their own sauce. Here is mine.

ribs (baby back, St. Louis style, Kansas City style, etc.) The number of racks will depend on the number of people to feed.

seasoning – To taste – sea salt (coarse), pepper (coarse), paprika, brown sugar, granulated garlic, chili powder

sauce – You can make your own, or buy your favorite.

Cover large cookie sheet with foil.

Place ribs on foil and season.

Place in oven at 350 for 20-30 minutes on each side.

Remove ribs from oven

You can either put the ribs on the grill to finish cooking for that smokey flavor. (be sure to baste with sauce)

You can lower the oven to 300, cut the ribs up, put in a pan and cover with foil (I use a roaster with lid). Cook until almost done. Drain any fat or juice before you add sauce. Make sure the ribs are coated with sauce.

Return to oven until they are “fall-off-the-bone” tender.  Hope you have some bibs!
